9 days Navratri puja
Divyayogasop priest (Pandit) will perform * 9 days Navratri puja on your behalf
Navraatri puja- Kalash Sthaapna
On the 1st day of the Navaratras, a tiny bed of mud is ready in the worship room
of the home and barley seeds are sown on it. On this Bed a Kalash made from
Copper is kept and filled up with water. On top of the pot a bowl filled up with
rice is kept. A dry Coconut wrapped with mango leaves is then kept over this
kalash. This Kalash is thought becoming a symbolic type of Mata Durga. By
keeping kalash one invocates the deity in the Kalash.
By the 10th day, the shoots are about three - five inches in length. After the
pooja, these seedlings are pulled out and given to devotees being a blessing
from god. This Kalash must not be touched throughout the 9 days . One diya is
lit near this Kalash that is speculated to burn endlessly for 9 days. This is
called Akhand Jyoti.
Lots of people think that the length of the Shoots determines the Quantum of
income that they'll have in coming 6 months. This perception could have been
because India was basically an agrarian economy wherein the efficiency of the
Land determined one's income.
first - third day of Navratri
On the 1st day of the Navaratra puja, 'Kalash Sthaapna. is completed in the
pooa area. These first days of pooja are devoted to Durga Mata, the Deity of
power and energy. Her various manifestations, Kumari, Parvati and Kali are all
worshiped throughout these days. They represent the three different curriculum
of womanhood that include the kid, the young teenager and also the mature
female.
Fourth - sixth day of Navratri During these days of Navratri pooja, Mahalakshmi
Mata, the Deity of calm and wealth is worshiped. By the 5th day which is called
Lalita Panchami, it is traditional, to collect and show all text obtainable in
the home, light a lamp or 'diya' to invoke Saraswati Mata, the Deity of
information and talent.
These 7th days of Navratri puja belongs to Saraswati Mata who's worshiped to
accumulate the religious awareness. This in turn will free us from all earthly
bondage. But on the eighth day of this bright event, yajna (holy fire) is
performed. Ghee (clarified butter), kheer (rice pudding) and sesame seeds form
the holy offering to Deity Durga Mata.
Mahanavami Pooja. Navratri ends with the final puja of Navratri on the 9th day.
The event of Navratri culminates in Mahanavami. On this day Kanya Worship is
carried out. 9 young girls on behalf of the 9 types of Deity Durga are
worshiped. Their feets are washed like a mark of respect for the Mata and then
they're offered food mostly consisting kala chana, halwa and puri. Then after
new clothes or gifts by the worshiper. This ritual is performed in most areas of
